Welcome to the world of Moresque custom-made carved plaster for domes. Whether they grace a presidential palace, government or religious building, or a private residence, often serve as the architectural and design focal point. What goes into these domes is what makes them unique and truly challenging.
At Moresque, craftsmanship runs deep in the Naji family, spanning four generations. From Mhammed Naji (1947 – 2021) to his son Mohammed Naji (1970-present), we have designed and crafted hundreds of domes, each with its exceptional ornamental design and architectural style, each with a unique story to tell.
Our Moresque showroom in Fez stands as a testament to the Naji family's long-standing legacy, showcasing our global accomplishments in the fine art of painstakingly hand-carved stucco plaster domes. Within our showroom, you'll find domes inspired by the Alhambra palace, the hall of the two sisters, and the cathedral style of the late 14th century, alongside modern creations like the fractal dome by Naji Mohammed Jr., and other non-traditional designs.
We invite you to explore the living art form of unique domes created by a family of artisans, where plaster is the simple ingredient that transforms into exceptional and breathtaking ornaments that endure for centuries, preserving the stories of the past.
At Moresque, we are dedicated to turning your dome vision into reality. We collaborate with you to incorporate our skills, talent, and generations of experience, ensuring that your project stands as a testament to uniqueness and excellence in craftsmanship.
